It all started with the desire for distinctive merchandise that would allow Greenvillians and those visiting the city to celebrate their affection for the town.

As director of sales and marketing for the convention center in Greenville, SC, Kathy Vass was always searching for something unique to communicate Greenville in a fun, creative and memorable way.

"I wanted something beyond the word 'Greenville' scripted across a T-shirt," Kathy says. "It needed to be something cool and catchy that people would want to wear and use."

After opening her own Marketing and PR firm, Kathy teamed up with award-winning graphic designer Jane Dorn to create the unique look she had been looking for. Now, residents and visitors alike can enjoy owning their own City Block!
